30 Day Challenge

Join Ember Yoga's 30 Day Callenge! Take 30 classes in 30 days and win prizes!

THE RULES:

  • Grab a card from the front desk, add your name, intention and start date. Hang on the challenge board.

  • You must begin your challenge between October 1st and 15th.

  • You must complete 30 classes in 30 days. Add a sticker to your card for every class you take. Make sure you’re checked into class. We will double check class attendance on your account before giving out prize packs.

  • Two classes in one day is okay, three classes won’t count. Make sure you’re checked into class.

  • If you’re not already a member, we are offering a special pricing option for 30 days of unlimited classes for $119. Sign up at the front desk and we can put your current class card on hold through the challenge.

  • New This Year: if you’re out of town during the challenge, you can take a class at another studio, but you must take a picture and post to instagram and tag @emberyoga, and use #emberyoga30in30 for the class to count.

Kid's Yoga, November Series

Kids Yoga ages 7 through 11.  Classes begin with a few minutes of quiet tuning in, followed by a fun and exciting practice of yoga! Poses are traditional yoga poses enhanced by tapping into what all tweens relate to in their lives. Students will learn the benefits of each pose and how to bring yoga into their everyday lives. Each class is based on an inspirational theme. Class ends in the traditional savasana (quiet corpse pose) and guided imagery.

Arm Balance Workshop with Marie

This fun and challenging workshop will teach you how to approach a variety of arm balances with greater confidence. Arm balances are empowering postures from which we can learn a lot about how we approach fear on and off the mat.

We will warm up with a short but vigorous vinyasa flow designed to lay the foundation for balancing on the hands (expect to fire up your core!) and then explore a variety of arm balances and how to transition in and out of them. Come with a playful attitude and no expectations!

Classes are offered for Moms to be in all stages of their pregnancy and the first few months after pregnancy. During this precious time moms are connecting to the miracle within. Hot Sequence Posture Clinic with Liz

Bring your curiosity and questions to this Hot Sequence posture clinic. Learn how to apply the proper alignment and the breath to reap the maximum benefit from each posture.

Consider this an opportunity to cater these poses to YOUR PERSONAL body. We will delve into the fundamentals of each pose covered as well as how to incorporate the breath to increase benefits and mind-body connection. The room will be a warm 95 degrees and we will explore many of the poses over the course of two hours. It is recommended to take the 5:00 Hot Sequence class after the clinic to practice your new skills!

This class is for moms-to-be in all stages of their pregnancy and the first few months after pregnancy. This class will include relaxing and a few challenging poses with safe modifications and is open to all levels. The sequencing is designed to help alleviate common aches and pains associated with pregnancy like back pain, leg cramps, and sciatica. Simple breathing techniques that are beneficial throughout the entire pregnancy are also taught in this class. Students will have the opportunity to connect with their baby as well as other mamas. This class is excellent preparation for birthing through breath, body and mind awareness.

Jackie is a proud mother of 5-month-old, Vince, and pregnancy made her appreciate her body and yoga practice more than ever. Yoga has been a gateway for strength, stillness, and sanity through all stages of pregnancy including miscarriages, fertility treatments, and post-baby. She's honored to support women on their journey to motherhood by helping them ride the physical, emotional, and energetic waves that accompany pregnancy. Her classes are filled with love for the sacred female body and incorporate clean alignment, flow, safe modifications to key poses, gentleness, and compassion.

Join us for this insightful and challenging workshop where you will learn and apply principles of core strength and stability to enhance your yoga asana practice and avoid injury both on and off the mat. In this workshop we will break down the anatomy of the core, practice techniques & drills to build strength and stamina, as well as look at how the core can be used to safely deepen a variety of asanas & transitions. In addition to these physical aspects, we will discuss your core as your energetic center and it's relationship to bandhas. This is an all levels workshop that will test your physical endurance, but come with no expectations other than to do 100% of what you CAN do. We will sweat, laugh and play, and you will walk away with a deeper awareness of your body as well as identify ways to safely develop your practice.

Together, let’s sweat off the old and clear a path into the New Year with intention and gratitude. Flow into 2018 with an uplifting all levels Vinyasa class taught by Ellery & Troy. We’ll ring in the new year with meditation and a nectar list of sweet moments from 2017. Lighting candles and warming our hearts as we will reflect and honor our true selves moving forward into the New Year. Light refreshments and a Champagne/Kombucha toast at midnight.
