About this Class:
This class is for moms-to-be in all stages of their pregnancy and the first few months after pregnancy. This class will include relaxing and a few challenging poses with safe modifications and is open to all levels. The sequencing is designed to help alleviate common aches and pains associated with pregnancy like back pain, leg cramps, and sciatica. Simple breathing techniques that are beneficial throughout the entire pregnancy are also taught in this class. Students will have the opportunity to connect with their baby as well as other mamas. This class is excellent preparation for birthing through breath, body and mind awareness.
Jackie is a proud mother of 5-month-old, Vince, and pregnancy made her appreciate her body and yoga practice more than ever. Yoga has been a gateway for strength, stillness, and sanity through all stages of pregnancy including miscarriages, fertility treatments, and post-baby. She's honored to support women on their journey to motherhood by helping them ride the physical, emotional, and energetic waves that accompany pregnancy. Her classes are filled with love for the sacred female body and incorporate clean alignment, flow, safe modifications to key poses, gentleness, and compassion.
