Carolyn has had a long career in health and fitness. Beginning back in college, she was a Group fitness Instructor to earn extra money and also relieve stress and anxiety. After a few unsatisfying years working in the corporate world, she decided to expand her love of fitness and well-being into a personal training business. Devoted to her livelihood and connection to her clients, she still felt a disconnect within herself. this imbalance was especially clear after the birth of her second child.
Carolyn had tried yoga several times during her fitness career, but it never 'stuck'. One morning, stressed and anxious, Carolyn decided to give yoga another try. During shavasana, the spark was lit. An immense sense of peace awakened and a connection to authentic self was discovered.
Carolyn developed her yoga practice over the next two years before she began teaching yoga, and has since been teaching yoga for over 10 years. She has a 200 hour certification in Ashtanga Yoga and Baptiste Power Yoga. Carolyn has also trained with Andrey Lappa and Alanna Kaivalya and attended numerous workshops and master classes.
Carolyn is passionate about bringing balance to her students, teaching them to find their own connection to self and spirit through asana. Oh yeah, and have fun doing it!
