I began practicing Pilates while attending Auburn University and playing lacrosse. I quickly realized that it was a great supplement to my lacrosse training and it taught me to calm and focus my mind. I was hooked.
My practice helped me become resilient to injuries that sidelined other players for months. After graduating college and moving to Atlanta, I kept up Pilates while taking up running and yoga. I noticed how well Pilates complimented other sports and helped counter the effects of sitting at a desk. Having never been a distance runner I credit my Pilates practice with helping me complete five half marathons. When the opportunity to study Pilates arose in 2009, I jumped at the chance and completed my Mat Certification. I love helping my students reach their goals and finding new ways to challenge them. Enhancing the well-being of others through teaching is my passion. I am lucky to have worked with a variety of students of all levels and backgrounds. From new students to Yogis, from professional athletes to new moms, I am so grateful to my students for enabling me to do what I love!
