Ember Yoga 100 Hour Hot Yoga Teacher Training


This 100 Hour training is open to all yoga students and teachers already in practice wishing to learn to teach the Hot 26+2 class.

During this training, students will practice the dialogue and learn how to successfully lead the Hot Sequence 26+2 class. You will learn techniques to use your voice and energy to deliver a meaningful class for all. You will learn how to help new students as well as encourage seasoned yogis into new growth. You will learn to teach a therapeutic class with modifications for those with injuries and with a limited range of motion. You will also develop a basic understanding of anatomy and how it relates to the Hot Sequence 26+2 class. Throughout the training, you will receive feedback in order to become a more effective teacher.


Requirements and Expectations:

  • No prior teaching experience necessary

  • Existing 200H certified teachers qualify for Yoga Alliance 50 hours of continuing education

  • 6 months - 1 year existing yoga practice recommended

  • Stiffness/Injuries OK

  • Minimum 5x/week practice, 3 class per week with lead teachers required.

  • 3 classes are scheduled within the Teacher Training weekend time and 2 additional classes are required to be taken during the week. Students will be asked to keep a log of their practices.

  • Ability to give and receive constructive criticism

  • Willingness to be vulnerable and participate in deep self study & interpersonal projects

  • Dedicated & committed studentship

  • By the end of the training the student must be able to demonstrate a strong practical understanding of the Hot Sequence 26+2 series. All graduates will teach free practice classes at Ember Yoga and some will qualify for Ember Yoga teaching positions.

  • You will receive a reading list and your first assignments prior to the start of the training.
