Throughout this balancing sequence, we will explore the application of dynamic breath activation in asana practice using Shiva Nata (dance of Shiva) to support balance, reaction speed, coordination and creative movement in space.

Universal Yoga Lecture Tea: Pranayama Combination Theory and Practice
Learn basic pranayamas and bandhas, in order to powerfully support single-pointed concentration in class and in preparation for meditation during the practice of Raja yoga.

Universal Yoga Practice: Himalayan Mandala
Using the sensory channels of touch, sight and hearing we will evoke a beautiful mandala through practice with visualizations, pranayama, turns in space and creative asana to drive awareness inward throughout class. Please bring two mats.
