Join us for this insightful and challenging workshop where you will learn and apply principles of core strength and stability to enhance your yoga asana practice and avoid injury both on and off the mat. In this workshop we will break down the anatomy of the core, practice techniques & drills to build strength and stamina, as well as look at how the core can be used to safely deepen a variety of asanas & transitions. In addition to these physical aspects, we will discuss your core as your energetic center and it's relationship to bandhas. This is an all levels workshop that will test your physical endurance, but come with no expectations other than to do 100% of what you CAN do. We will sweat, laugh and play, and you will walk away with a deeper awareness of your body as well as identify ways to safely develop your practice.
