Kate began practicing yoga in 2009 at the recommendation of a friend, and finally worked up the courage to take her YTT in 2018- she hasn't looked back. Although the postural yoga practice is only a small part of the lifelong spiritual practice of yoga, Kate understands it is an important somatic tool in the journey toward a more mindful and purposeful life. A believer in the sentiment that how we do one thing is how we do everything, Kate encourages her students to engage in their practice with grit, curiosity, humility, and above all else, joy. Kate is a certified 200hr RYT, as well as certified in Yoga for 12 Step Recovery and Trauma Informed Yoga.
